Three friends, who shared this conviction, started Jyaamiti Architectural Studio in Bangalore in 2008, to give shape to people’s ideas of their perfect spaces. Since then, the Jyaamiti family has grown to include an office in Chikmagalur, several young and enterprising architects, and a huge number of very happy clients!

Athulyam
Is an intriguing play of light and shadows. Interesting spaces within a larger space are
born out of the hierarchy of volumes. The project presented a great opportunity to experiment
with planes, materials and colours as the architecture was perfectly in sync with our idea for
each area .

Abhishekam
A contemporary residence tailored to the client’s needs but with the added touch of
Jyaamiti design philosophy. Natural light floods the courtyard and in turn enhances the
ambience of the living spaces that encapsulate it.Carefully adopting an open floor concept
added further volume to the home without having to compromise on the warmth and
coziness of the experience.

Ajith and Anitha’s Residence
“The details are not the DETAILS. They make the design.” – Charles Eames
This colonial style residence features a very contrasting approach to the design as compared to
the houses within the immediate context. Both in terms of its interior and exterior details .

Shreekaram
Nestled within a neighbourhood quite at odds with the structure itself, sits the 3 bedroom duplex.
Its sloping roof, a necessary feature due to the heavy rainfall in the region, plays a pivotal role in
enhancing the elevation of the structure.
The terrace accommodates a small garden, which results in the ideal space to relax .

Vistara County
“Good architecture lets nature in.” – Mario Pei
Surrounded by the lush paddy fields and exquisite greenery of Chikkamagalur sits Vistara County.
A holiday home that also comprises a restaurant and an indoor games area. The perfect weekend
getaway to indulge in some peacefulness .
